Designed for
Standard seat frame for bus, coach and ambulance seating where weight is secondary to cost-efficiency and robustness under high-cycle use.
ViaSeat steel seat frames are MIG welded in a precision jig, with 100% dimensional verification against the jig before release. Frames are hot-zinc phosphated before powder-coating to provide corrosion protection. ECE R80 structural performance is verified on a representative first-article basis with test house certification.
